REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR VOLUPTUOUS VIXEN POLE 2019!!
We are so excited you decided to compete in the Voluptuous Vixen Pole Competition! The 2019 competition details will be announced early 2019. Prizes will include discounted invitations to future pole competitions, discounted classes, and pole dance necessities from pole loving companies across the nation. Please read the rules carefully to avoid being disqualified. Once you have read all rules, please scroll down to the bottom of the page to register for the competition. There is a registration fee of $30 for one category, $50 for two categories, $75 for 3 categories. Registration fees are non-refundable, and cannot be transferred to other categories.
1st, 2nd & 3rd Place
1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners, Best Overall Doubles, and the TwerkQueen will be recognized, awarded, and photographed at the close of the competition. If a competitor wins first place in either level category or TwerkQueen, he or she must enter the next level up the following year. If a competitor wins the top level, they are not permitted to compete the following year. The competitor is welcome to re-enter after the skipped year. The competitor may be invited to judge during the skipped year. There will be only one TwerkQueen and one Best Overall Doubles winner per competition; there is no 2nd place or 3rd place for these two categories.
To Qualify
To enter the 2018 Voluptuous Vixen Pole Competition, you must:
Be able to prove age via license/passport
Men & women 18+ are welcome to compete
Wear adult size 8 and up
Agree and adhere to all rules, qualifying and disqualifying moves of the category
Be a US citizen or in US on visa
Prepare a routine to perform at the competition
Arrive on time on the day of the competition to run through the show once
Understand the judges' decision is final; will not communicate with judges before or after event regarding scoring
Sign a libility waiver on the day of the competition
Give permission for photography and video to be taken of your performance for promotional purposes of future events
Competitor may enter two consecutive pole categories (Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3) and/or the TwerkQueen or Doubles category.

Judges
There will be three judges. The judges scoring deductions are shown below. All decisions are final. Competitors are not permitted to talk to any judge in advance or after the event regarding scoring or decisions. Judges can stop the performance at any time if they think the contestant's health and/or safety is at risk.
Attire
Articles of clothing are permitted to be removed during the performance. Women must wear a minimum of a sports bra top and booty/boy shorts at all times. No bikini bottoms. If a female competitor chooses to wear a body suit she must include booty/boy shorts underneath. We cannot share video footage if your lady parts are showing. Men must wear a minimum of booty shorts at all times.
Props
Competitors are welcome to use props with prior approval. The props must be able to be set up by the competitor quickly before the performance. For prop approval, please email a description or picture of the item to vvixenpole@gmail.com no later than Sept. 1st, 2019.
Poles and Practice time
Competitors must clean poles after their performance. Competitors are welcome to put pole grip aids directly on body before going on stage. Grip used must be easily cleaned from pole. Competitors will have a specified practice time before the competition. Competitors will be allowed to run through their performance one time and will not be allowed to restart their music.
Stage
The stage right pole will be on spinning and the stage left pole will be on static which has become an industry standard. Competitors are welcome to use the pole stage floor. Competitors may not enter the audience seating area or judges' tables.
Music
Music can be up to 5:00 minutes in length depending on the category; the TwerkQueen category has a minimum time limit of 2:00 minutes. The Doubles category has a maximum time limit of 4:00 minutes. There is no minimum time limit for Level 1, 2, or 3. Music must be submitted to vvixenpole@gmail.com already cut and in MP3 format by Nov. 1 2019. If your music is not received by the deadline we will assume that you no longer wish to compete.
Competition Levels
There are three categories differentiated by material and ability to choose from. The competitor is welcome to choose the level most comfortable or more challenging to their current ability.
Level 1
This level’s limitations:
Cannot invert on pole
Climbing is permitted
Must keep both hands on the pole in all spins or lifts; may transition one armed while aerially on the pole.
Can do headstands/handstands on the floor while holding pole or not
Static and spin pole are permitted
Only heels specifically designed for pole dancing are allowed but not required
5:00 minute max time limit of song
Level 2
This level’s limitations:
Must complete at least one inversion (heart over head) from the ground or aerially
(Please note: diagonal shapes do not count. Competitor must be completely inverted)
Can do headstands/handstands on the floor while holding pole or not
Must complete at least one spin on static pole with 2 hands or 1 hand
Must complete at least one climb
Must use both static and spin pole equally, estimated
Must complete at least one spin on spin pole with 2 hands or 1 hand
Only heels specifically designed for pole dancing are allowed but not required
5:00 minute max time limit of song
Level 3
This level’s limitations:

Flexibility- moves are fully extended and completed to the best of their ability (up to 5 points)
Stage Presence (up to 10 points)
Entertaining- 'Wow' factor, facial expressions, captivating (up to 5 points)
Eye contact- interaction with judges and audience (up to 5 points)
